A visit to the Corbett National Park is only a matter of two days, provided that you do not plan to go for excursions, which are, if not more, as exciting and enchanting as the jeep safari in the Corbett National Park.

There are so many other places to see around the National Park of Corbett, that one is tempted to increase the length of stay at resorts by still at least two days. Therefore, if you are planning a trip of four or five days to Corbett, here are the places that you must visit.

Sitabani Ashram: It is believed that this is the place where Sita stayed during his exile and raised his son Luv and Kush. It is located in a very picturesque place and is certainly a contrast with its complex of luxury. The temple of Sitabani has a statue of Sita white stone without Rama, holding his son.Corbett Museum: Located about 32 km from Ramnagar, on the road to Nainital, the Museum has things associated with the man, Jim Corbett himself. This place is known as Kaladungi. En route to Kaladungi are falls Corbett, which is an excellent picnic spot.Garjia Temple: On road to Dhikala, about 3 km from Corbett deserts, lies a huge rock emerging from the Kosi River and on top lies the Garjia Devi temple. A place for worship, it also gives a mesmerizing view of the Kosi River. A large fair is held here on Kartik Poornima.Tumaria Dam: It is approximately 45 minutes by car from the national park. The trip will prove instructive for children and adults alike that there are many migratory birds who flock to this place.Nainital, Ranikhet and Almora: Nainital is about 65 km from the national park and therefore takes about an hour and 15 minutes to achieve by Corbett. As a result, can be easily managed. It is a hill with magnificent Naini Lake station. Ranikhet is about 120 kms and Almora is 125 km from Corbett. Almora, India from Ranikhet offer views breathtaking and picturesque snow covered Himalaya.

A visit to the National Park should not be limited to the jungle safari but many many places is also to visit, which are only a few hours of Corbett. You can make its station chosen in the Corbett national park as a hub and visit all the places above. As a result, over the duration of your trip to the national park, better it is.
